Ingrid Adrianza, RID

Interior Designer

With a background in Interior Design and Art History, Ingrid has over nineteen years of expertise spanning diverse interior design projects. Her portfolio encompasses corporate interiors, Class A office building tenant build-outs, residential spaces, hospitality venues, healthcare facilities, government establishments, educational institutions, and more. Throughout her career, Ingrid has taken on multifaceted roles, adeptly handling space planning, comprehensive interior detailing, consultant collaboration, programming, ff&e, specifications, project management, lighting design, construction documentation, and overseeing construction administration.

Ingrid’s passion lies in crafting distinctive spaces and curating interiors that clients enjoy, firmly believing in the profound impact of beautiful design on enhancing everyday life.

W. Scott Andrews

Design Professional – Architecture

Scott Andrews is a longtime member of the VergesRome Architects team and has more than 25 years of architectural experience in the New Orleans area. His project experience includes new residential design, residential renovations/restorations and additions, new multi-family construction, warehouse to multi-family conversions, restaurant interior design and renovations, and renovation of existing educational facilities.

Scott has worked with numerous developers, builders, and construction companies throughout the area, and participated in design teams with other design professionals, including architects, interior designers, landscape designers, lighting designers, and MEP and structural engineers. He is comfortable presenting to City Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Board of Building Standards and Appeals, and HDLC. Project experience has afforded Mr. Andrews a familiarity with Local City Zoning Codes and Laws, IBC 2006, and Life Safety Codes – NFPA 2006. Scott’s experience also includes preparing and submitting for project tax credits based on design criteria set forth by the National Park Service, and the PRC for façade servitudes. During his architectural career, Scott has developed a special interest in historic restoration and preservation, resulting in numerous honors and awards for his efforts in these areas by the HDLC and the PRC.

In addition to his interest in architecture in general, and that of the City of New Orleans specifically, Scott is also committed to and invested in the well-being of his Carrollton neighborhood and the City.  He sits on the board of a number of neighborhood organizations including the Northwest Carrollton Civic Association and the Carrollton Area Network.

Kathryn Barona

Administration & Marketing

Spanning nearly two decades of cross-disciplinary experience, Kathryn has built a rich, diverse career history. Driven by detail, she approaches work with a discerning eye and brings critical feedback.

Kathryn has enjoyed a career expanding all across the world of design, architecture, and construction. A favorite aspect of this field is being challenged to take on new and exciting work with an enthusiasm to learn and broaden skills.

Pam Bartholomew

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Pam has over 33 years of Administrative and Billing experience in Janitorial Wholesale, Grocery Store, Automotive/Diesel Sales, Collections, Court Reporting, Oil Field Drilling Company, Nondestructive Testing, Construction Management, and Environmental Health and Safety.

Mike Brady

Design Professional – Architecture

Mike is a recent addition to VergesRome Architects, bringing a foundation in public work, historic preservation and hands-on craftsmanship. Before transitioning to an office environment, he spent several years in the field working with brick masonry and plaster, later refining his skills in a respected wood shop focused on traditional woodwork. With a strong appreciation for tactile processes and a passion for construction techniques, Mike enjoys finding thoughtful, practical solutions that bridge design and craft.

Originally from Kentucky, he’s embraced Louisiana’s rich culture and geography, often spending time outdoors and taking part in sportsman activities when possible. A former motorcycle racer, Mike still enjoys cycling, motocross, and staying engaged in the community by helping friends with building projects.

Trinity M. Bergeron

Administration

Trinity joined VergesRome Architects in 2007 as Assistant to Principal-in-Charge, Chip Verges. In addition to her responsibilities as Executive Assistant, Trinity handles a wide variety of duties that help keep the VergesRome office running smoothly.  She is also a Notary Public in Louisiana.

Trinity has been an active member of the Society of Marketing Professionals (SMPS) since 2009 and has served as:

  • Sponsorship Committee Chair, 2016, 2017
  • Committee Member Annual Awards Gala, 2017
  • Chair Annual Marketing Workshop 2013-2017
  • Board Member, 2015

​She also enjoys volunteering with the AIA New Orleans as a Golf Committee Member, serving in 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017. Trinity also volunteers with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana and the Mystic Krewe of Barkus.

Trinity’s passion is working with dogs, a passion seeded in childhood when her family always shared their space with furry four-legged friends. Active in animal rescue for more than 10 years, Trinity focused on obedience training dogs for local shelters and rescue groups so they would be more adoptable. Adopted at the age of 8 months, Trinity’s dog Pahdoo had been in two shelters, multiple homes and was given a handful of names. Helping Pahdoo feel loved and comfortable in the world is Trinity’s most heartfelt accomplishment.

Corey M. Brizzolara, LEED AP BD +C

Design Professional – Architecture

Since joining VergesRome Architects in 2009, Corey Brizzolara has worked on numerous and diverse projects, in all project phases from programming through design, contract documents, and construction closeout. His work ethic, diligence, organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines make him a valued project team member.

Corey’s experience with Tulane Medical Center alterations and renovations projects includes the $2 Million Helistop atop the Aron Pavilion that was completed ahead of schedule and within budget. Corey’s recent project work includes a new, $25.6 Million, three-section facility for Fisk-Howard Elementary School which was destroyed by the floods following Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Corey also contributed to multiple mothballing, re-roofing, and shoring projects for the Recovery School District (including the Hansberry School) and was project architect for the restoration of Oliver Bush Playground, a hurricane recovery project in the Lower Ninth Ward, for the City of New Orleans. Current projects include the new Pere Rouquette Library at Saint Joseph Abbey and Seminary College, John McDonogh Elementary School Renovation and New Gymnasium, and the New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School.

Mark Brupbacher, AIA

Architect

Mark Brupbacher brings 30 years of experience in architecture and construction administration, with a strong focus on detailing and delivering quality architectural services. At VergesRome Architects, he is known for his meticulous approach to managing projects from schematic design through construction administration. Mark takes pride in maintaining well-organized, detail-driven projects throughout all phases of construction, ensuring clear documentation, smooth coordination, and successful execution in the field.

Juan M. Burciaga Jr., AIA, LEED Green Associate

ARCHITECT

Juan has been in the construction industry since 1997 and started his career in Architecture 2009. He has design experience in a wide range of projects that include historic renovations, industrial, commercial (retail and office design), parking structures, and multi-family.

Some of his most notable projects are Belleville Assisted living, Most Holy Trinity Church Multi-purpose building, and the Xavier University of LA Legacy Building Envelope Renovation.

Taylor Demarest, Assoc. AIA

Design Professional – Architecture

Taylor has contributed to projects in multiple states including Louisiana, Alabama, and Texas across all phases of pre-design, design, documentation, and construction. She also specializes in 3D rendering and advanced graphic representation techniques. Outside of the office, she enjoys going to the gym, walking her dog, painting, and spending time with friends and family.
