Education: Bachelor of Design in Architecture, 1980. University of Florida

Experience: With over twenty-five years of experience, Bob Bloomquist brings a diversified work experience to VergesRome Architects. In 2008, Mr. Bloomquist relocated to Louisiana from Florida where his 15 years of Educational experience including numerous Collegiate Education projects at Tallahassee Community college including a Student Union, Library, School of Nursing, and Numerous second floor Additions to General Classroom buildings have been a vital asset. The remodeling of the existing Library into the College of Dental Hygiene and Nursing at Okaloosa Walton College demonstrates his ability in adaptive use. Numerous Grade School projects including Vernon High School, Madison High school, Taylor County High School, Madison Pre-K thru 8th grade campus and the West Florida Center for Advanced Technology add to his diversity, all in Northwest Florida.

Specializing in renovations and additions, Bob completed numerous additions and renovations at The Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy, Gulf Coast Community College, Leon High School, Griffin Middle School, and Wakulla Middle School, to mention a few, all in Northwest Florida.

In addition to educational projects, Mr. Bloomquist has four years of renovation project experience in the Medical Field at project sites including Archbold Medical Center and Tallahassee Regional Medical Center and numerous Out-Patient facilities. Other Institutional projects include work with the Veterans Administration and Army Corps of Engineers on numerous Military Bases in Florida.

Residential and Hospitality Architecture have always been a common thread throughout his experience with six years experience in Hospitality, Condominium, and Planned Unit Development projects along the Emerald Coast in Florida.
